The Understanding of Grace!
What is Grace? Grace gives us the opportunity to get it Right!
1st John 3:4-7 – Vs. 4. What is Sin? Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression (breaking) of the law. 5. And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. 6. Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. 7. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. This scripture is showing us that when we commit sin then we are breaking the Laws of the Most HIGH which means the Laws are not done away with nor was it nailed to the cross! This is also showing us that Christ Savior (Mashiach Yashai) was created/ordained to forgive us of our sins, so when we cleave unto Him by believing in His teachings and as the scripture had said then we become righteous just as He is righteous!!!
1st John 5:3-4 – Vs. 3. What is the Love of the Most HIGH? For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. 4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. When we keep the Most HIGH’s Commandments we show our Love for Him which means we respect Him as our Authority/as our GOD!!!
1st John 2:4-5 – Vs. 4. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. Let us refrain from this hypocrisy and instead be obedient unto Him!
Proverbs 28:9 – He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. The breaking of the law is sin (1st John 3:4); if we commit sin then our prayers will not be heard. Don’t be a stumbling block for your prayers!
Romans 6:1-14 – Vs. 1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yasha Christ were baptized into His death? 4. Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: 6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7. For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him: 9. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. 10. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God. 11. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Yasha Christ our Lord. 12. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. We should walk as new creatures with that Faith in Christ. It’s a refining process, a progression! We are now under Grace, but we should not continue to sin willfully; the Grace account will eventually run out!
Galatians 2:16-21 – Vs. 16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Yashai Christ, even we have believed in Yasha Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. We are not justified by the law without Christ. Yashai did not come into the earth to be the minister of sin; He kept the Laws of the Most HIGH! He became our Living Sacrifice ordained by the HOLY Father, so we are no longer justified by the Laws alone. We need both! In addition, Apostle Paul is stressing the fact that he does not frustrate the Grace of GOD by willfully breaking the Laws (committing sin) while believing in His Son, the Messiah. Again, we must keep the Laws and believe in Christ and having His testimony as well as knowing His Name (YASHAI = SAVIOR) to make it to the Kingdom of GOD!!!
Colossians 2:13-17 – Vs. 13. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17. Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. When Yashai became our Living Sacrifice, He took His believers out of the way of judgment ordained for satan and his followers. He also took away the instant judgment of death which was given to a person when he or she breaks a particular Law worthy of death; however, through Him we were given Grace by the Most HIGH! The Apostle Paul is also telling us to not let anyone judge us in keeping the Holy Feast Days, New Seasons or Sabbaths because they are a precursor of what’s to come when Christ returns to rule (Zechariah14:16-19)!!!
Numbers 15:32-36 – Vs. 32. And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day. 33. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. 35. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. Here we have a great example of a person breaking the Sabbath Law and for that, the instant judgment of death was given to him! At this present time, we were given Grace for things that are contrary to righteousness; this is for our protection because at some point in our lives we all have broken the Most HIGH’s Laws. Yes, we are not perfect, for we still fall short, but we can’t continue to hit the replay button of sin and expect Grace to continue!!!
Romans 2:14-15 – Vs. 14. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15. Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) When those such as Gentiles have not the Laws of Moses, but keep the laws they naturally understand by obeying them; therefore, their conscience is bearing witness based on their beliefs. Just as in this current land, we know we shouldn’t murder or steal, even though society is not necessarily following all of the Laws of Moses, the conscience still discerns right from wrong; this becomes law unto them.
Matthew 12:36-37 – Vs. 36. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. 37. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. We are accountable for our own words and when we stand before our Maker those same words will testify for and against us which is why this old proverb speaks volume that says, “Think before you speak.” Let us exercise wisdom in righteousness before and during our speech (Matthew 15:10-11 & 16-20)!!!
Hebrews 10:26 – For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Grace will no longer abound (given) if we willfully sin after coming to the knowledge of the Most HIGH’s TRUTH (LAWs)!
Romans 1:20-32 – Vs. 20. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. 24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. This is speaking of those who desire to please their own flesh (lust of the flesh – short term pleasure) and not wanting to obey the rule of Law which is better for them (Eternal Life)! We are our brothers and sisters keeper; we are to help those in need by teaching them the TRUTH (LAWS) of the Most HIGH.
Malachi 2:17 – Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied Him? When ye say, Everyone that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment? This verse is showing us how we weary the HOLY Father. We weary the Most HIGH when we accuse Him of being contrary to His righteousness as well as asking about His whereabouts as if He’s not everywhere. The Most HIGH is far from unrighteousness and the vanity of men; His thoughts and ways are not ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Also, He knows what is going on at all times because He’s GOD and there’s no other!!!
Matthew 15:7-9 – Vs. 7. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias (Isaiah) prophesy of you, saying, 8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. The Messiah points out what was prophesied by the Prophet Isaiah on the hypocrisy of His people regarding the level of respect they had towards the Most High which was not good. They worshipped the Most HIGH in vain (not in Truth) because it wasn’t genuine and so they went about teaching others their own doctrine (philosophy) which is the commandments of men and not of the Most HIGH.
1st Timothy 4:3-6 – Vs. 3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 6. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Yasha Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. This scripture gives us two great examples of false doctrines/commandments of men. One example given is the forbidding of marriage, even though the HOLY Father said to be fruitful and multiply, and the other false doctrine is the command to not eat meat which goes against what the HOLY Father had commanded, written in Leviticus 11 and in Deuteronomy 14. Also, this scripture is not speaking of unclean meats like pigs, shrimp, etc. it is speaking of clean meats from Lamb, Goat, Cow, etc. The Dietary Law of the Most HIGH is still in full effect!!!
Isaiah 51:7 – Hearken unto Me, ye that know righteousness (What is the HOLY Father’s righteousness?), the people in whose heart is My Law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings (abusive language). The HOLY Father is telling us to listen to Him, those who keep His Laws (Ways), and to not be afraid of what men or women say or do!!!
Romans 10:1-4 – Vs. 1. Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. We can all relate to Apostle Paul in having the desire for our brothers and sisters to be Saved and that is the keeping of the Laws of the Most HIGH, and believing in Christ as the scripture had said!!! Because both he and we have witnessed the zeal of GOD in them, however, they’re missing an extremely important component and that is the TRUTH of the Most HIGH. Having the knowledge of the Most HIGH’s righteousness is the key in worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth!!!
Matthew 4:17-20 – Vs. 17. From that time Yashai began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 18. And Yasha, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19. And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20. And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him. This testimony is a great example of “My sheep hear My voice.” (John 10:27). We must repent and follow Yashai Christ; for with repentance, we are also keeping the Laws of the Most HIGH. We have to make sure we have both in our lives (the belief in Christ and keeping the Laws) because they go hand-in-hand. Obedience in Righteousness is a Beautiful thing!!!
