Repentance
Our Lord Yashai (Savior) Christ let us know that it is a must that we repent in order for us to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Yashai (Savior) began to preach, and to say, REPENT: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
One might ask what is repentance?
re·pent·ance[ri-pen-tns,-pen-tuhns]
noun
1. deep sorrow, compunction,or contrition for a past sin, wrong doing, or the like.
2. regret for any past action.
So when we repent we are not in a reprobate state of mind. We openly acknowledge that we have sinned against The Most HIGH. Then we must be ready to discontinue our iniquity. Confess our sin to The Most HIGH with remorse in being sorry for our sin.
Psalm_38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
Psalm_38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Halt [hawlt]
Verb (used without object)
1. To stop; cease moving, operating, etc., either permanently or temporarily: They halted for lunch and strolled about.
So David stated that he is ready to stop sinning against The Most HIGH. He is ready to stop breaking The Most HIGH’s Commandments, and that he is burdened with great melancholy continually. David then announces his iniquity (sin) and is apologetic for his wrong doings.
In order to understand why we must repent we must first understand what we are repenting from.
Sin
Noun
1. Transgression of Divine Law: the sin of Adam.
2. Any act regarded as such a transgression, especially a willful or deliberate violation of some religious or moral principle.
1st John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law.
We commit sin by breaking the laws of The Most HIGH AHHAYAH. These laws can be found in the Old Testament. (Sin is the transgression of the Law)!
Many of the Christian churches preach and teach that the law is done away with or that no man can keep the whole law, or that we have grace under Christ. Let’s see what Yashai-ya Christ Himself has to say about the Law.
Mathew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.
So even though Christ came in the flesh we are still to uphold and keep the Laws contained in the Old Testament. Neither of these Laws nor the Prophets are done away with.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms concerning Me.
Christ came into the earth to fulfill the prophecies that were written of Him in the Old Testament.
Psalm 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Hebrews_10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
John_5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testifyofme.
Mathew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled.
Now that we know what we are repenting from which is the transgression of The Most HIGH AHHAYAH’s Commandments who needs to repent? Is anybody good enough to say they have not sinned against The Most HIGH AHHAYAH? Is anybody good enough to say they have not transgressed The Most HIGH’s laws? What do the scriptures say?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God;
The scriptures tell us that all people have sinned and have fallen short of The Most HIGH’s Glory. So, none of us can say that we have no need of repentance to The Most HIGH AHHAYAH. It is indispensable that we repent to The Most HIGH AHHAYAH for our sins.
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yashai Christ might be given to them that believe.
Romans 3:10-11 - Vs. 10. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
We all are under sin and have the sin nature of unrighteousness, therefore we all have need of repentance.
Apocalypse of Paul 17 - And again I beheld, and lo, a soul which was brought by two angels, weeping and saying: Have mercy on me, thou righteous God, O God the judge; for to-day is seven days since I went forth out of my body, and I was delivered unto these two angels, and they have brought me unto those places which I had never seen. And God the righteous judge said unto it: What hast thou done for thou hast never wrought mercy; therefore wast thou delivered unto such angels, which have no mercy, and because thou hast not done right, therefore neither have they dealt pitifully with thee in the hour of thy necessity. Confess therefore thy sins which thou hast committed when thou were in the world. And it answered and said.
I looked and saw that a writing (the same word, chirographum) was in his hand: he began to open it, and when he had spread it out I read it in mine own language, and I found all my sins that I had committed, recorded by him, even those which I had committed from my childhood up unto this day.] And the Lord God the righteous judge said: For by myself I swear, and by mine holy angels and by my power, that if it had repented five years before it died, even for the walk (conversation) of one year, there should be forgetfulness of all the evil which it committed before and it should have pardon and remission of sins: but now let it perish. And the angel of the sinful soul answered and said: Command, Lord, that (such and such an) angel to bring forth those (such and such) souls.
We can clearly see in the above passage from The Apocalypse of Paul that The Most HIGH AHHAYAH requires us to confess ours sins and repent of the evil of our doings. There is nothing hid from The Most High. The angels watch and keep a report of the good and the bad of all men.
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
The angels also report the deeds of man to The Most HIGH AHHAYAH. If we are too magnanimous and refuse to repent of our sins, then we will not be accepted by The Most HIGH AHHAYAH. The Most HIGH AHHAYAH is very Merciful and He has no pleasure in watching us perish.
Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
The Prophet Ezekiel let us know that The Most HIGH God (Power) has no pleasure in watching the death of the wicked. If The Most HIGH AHHAYAH is for us who can be against us? But we must all realize that we have need of repentance to The Most HIGH.
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
The wicked try to cover their sins instead of humbling themselves to The Most HIGH AHHAYAH, despite the fact that The Most HIGH AHHAYAH would rather see them repent and turn from their wicked doings.
2nd Peter 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
2nd Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
The Eyes of The Lord, which are the angels do not even report the deeds of the wicked to The Most HIGH AHHAYAH. They were made to be taken and destroyed in the lake of fire. But as for those that keep the commandments of The Most HIGH and repent of their sins shall inherit Eternal life through Yashai The Christ.
Matthew 10:5 These twelve Yashai sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Matthew 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Yashai Ha-Mashayach (The Anionted Savior) was sent to save the children of Israel and give them a way back to The Most HIGH. He first ordered the disciples to Not go to the Gentiles but rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Why? Because the children of Israel are The Most HIGH AHHAYAH’s Chosen People who were born to represent The Most HIGH in this earth and show the Gentiles His ways. So, there is an order with The Most HIGH AHHAYAH, but can Gentiles repent? Absolutely!
Acts 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
We all must repent to our Creator, but if our brothers or sisters wrong us, and we correct them, and they repent of their trespass we must forgive them. We must forgive those who have repented to receive repentance from The Most HIGH AHHAYAH.
In conclusion, all of us whether we are Israelites or Gentiles must first acknowledge that we are sinners. We then need to stop breaking the commandments of The HOLY Father, therefore, showing Him that we Love Him. We must confess our sins to The Most HIGH with sorrow and follow The Most HIGH AHHAYAH’s Son, Yashai-ya (my Savior) who gave us the blueprint on how we may please Our Heavenly Father. We thank The Most HIGH AHHAYAH for sending His Son Yashai (Savior) so that we now have an opportunity to repent. The children of Israel, who is also the children of light, fell from the Old Covenant with no way to get back in right standing with The Most HIGH AHHAYAH and definitely could not teach the Gentiles the way of righteousness. We would be repenting in vain!!! But through Christ’s Sacrifice, we can turn from our wickedness and repent unto righteousness. All Praise to AHHAYAH in the name of Yashai The Christ (The Messiah/Ha-Mashayach)! Shalawam (Peace).
